Canada head coach Casey Stoney has revealed a 41-player preliminary squad for the upcoming Concacaf W Championship in Texas. The roster will be reduced to a final 23 players ahead of the tournament, where Canada faces Panama in the quarterfinals on Nov. 28. The match also serves as a crucial qualifier for both the World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games.
The preliminary squad features returning veterans Adriana Leon and Bianca St-Georges, alongside regulars Jessie Fleming, Kadeisha Buchanan, and Vanessa Gilles. Forward Jordyn Huitema is the most notable absence due to an ACL injury. The roster also includes eight Northern Super League players and several collegiate standouts such as Notre Dame forward Annabelle Chukwu.
