Tancredi’s Canada Soccer Hall of Fame induction will be celebrated in front of family, friends and Canadian supporters at BMO Field
Canada Soccer will honour Dr. Melissa Tancredi and celebrate her induction into the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame Class of 2026 at BMO Field in Toronto. The ceremony will take place at halftime during the Canadian Women's National Team's home match against Denmark on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12.
Tancredi, a two-time Olympic Bronze Medalist and Concacaf champion, earned 125 international appearances and scored 27 goals over a 14-year career. She famously netted match-winning qualification goals for both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games and ranks fifth all-time in goals for Canada.
