Saudi, Bundesliga clubs chasing CF Montreal’s Prince Owusu: report

CF Montreal striker Prince Owusu is reportedly drawing transfer interest from Saudi club Al-Shabab SFC and unnamed Bundesliga sides ahead of the winter transfer window. According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, Al-Shabab, whose sporting director is former Montreal executive Olivier Renard, is targeting the German-born forward. Owusu has recorded 18 goals in 32 matches across all competitions for Montreal this season.

Owusu previously signed a contract extension through the 2027-2028 MLS season, with options extending to 2029-2030. Despite Montreal's elimination from playoff contention and a Canadian Championship final defeat, Owusu has scored 35 goals in 72 matches over two seasons in Montreal.
