Thomas Müller has indicated that his future with the Vancouver Whitecaps remains undecided as his contract approaches its expiration at the end of the 2026 MLS season. The 37-year-old German forward stated after Wednesday's training session that his upcoming decision will depend on his physical condition, contract terms, personal circumstances, and the team's perspective.

Müller initially joined Vancouver through 2025 before the club exercised an option to retain him for 2026. As MLS prepares to shift its schedule format in 2027, sporting director and CEO Axel Schuster previously noted that extending Müller will require extensive discussions, though Müller emphasized that he remains fully committed to competing.
