How Scotland players rated as the slumped to dismal Slovenia defeat
Scotland suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Slovenia in UEFA Nations League Group B1 at Hampden Park. Ryan Christie opened the scoring for manager Sebastien Pocognoli's side in the first half following a rebound from a Jack Hendry header. However, Slovenia rallied in the second half, with Aljosa Matko scoring an equalizer before the visitors sealed a comeback win.
Player ratings from the match reflected Scotland's struggles, with defenders Stephen Welsh and Luis Binks receiving 4 out of 10 ratings. John McGinn also received a 4, while Billy Gilmour marked his 50th cap with a rating of 6. The loss leaves Pocognoli with only one win from his first four games in charge.
