New Manchester United injury concern as Patrick Dorgu forced off in first half of Denmark vs Wales

Manchester United defender Patrick Dorgu was forced off with an injury during Denmark's Nations League match against Wales on September 27, 2026. The 21-year-old left-back went down unchallenged less than 30 minutes into the fixture at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen and was replaced by Mohamed Deramy.

While the issue did not appear to be serious, the setback adds to Manchester United's concerns after captain Bruno Fernandes was ruled out of Portugal's clash with Norway. Dorgu has appeared in all five of United's Premier League fixtures this season under Michael Carrick, most recently registering an assist in a 1-1 draw against Fulham.
