Transport for Wales named official travel partner of Welsh football

Transport for Wales has officially partnered with the Football Association of Wales to serve as the official travel partner of Welsh football. The initiative aims to enhance public transport options for supporters attending national matches and major domestic fixtures. As part of the collaboration, TfW journey planning and ticketing will be integrated into the FAW's app, giving fans streamlined access to matchday travel.

The partnership also focuses on sustainability and decarbonization across the sport in Wales, from national fixtures to grassroots football. For upcoming autumn UEFA Nations League home matches, TfW has scheduled a dedicated direct service from Cardiff Central to Holyhead departing at 22:44.
