Barcelona send Julian Alvarez message after Atletico Madrid transfer saga

Deco confirmed that Barcelona submitted an offer, but the deal ultimately proved impossible.

After failing to secure Alvarez, Barcelona completed a permanent transfer for Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus for €10 million. While Alvarez has struggled for minutes and form under manager Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid, Jesus has made an immediate impact at Barcelona, scoring two goals in 41 minutes of action.
