Barcelona are continuing their search for a new striker and are evaluating another number nine option after failing to sign Julian Alvarez during the summer transfer window. Reporter Matteo Moretto stated on Radio Marca that while Barcelona's interest in Alvarez is not completely ruled out, the Catalan club is actively considering other targets for a permanent forward addition.
Moretto also noted that Alvarez has not officially signed with a new representative, though Pablo Barquero currently holds an advantage. Meanwhile, the report highlights that Barcelona previously tracked alternative options such as Eli Junior Kroupi and Nicolo Tresoldi as potential future attacking reinforcements.
