Barcelona loanee Marc Casado undergoes surgery for fractured collarbone

Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, who is currently on loan at Deportivo, has undergone surgery after fracturing his right collarbone. The injury occurred during Deportivo's recent match against Real Betis, forcing the midfielder off the pitch in the first half of the game.

Deportivo confirmed that traumatologist Rafael Arriaza performed the surgery at the HM Modelo Hospital in A Coruna. While Casado is set for a spell on the sidelines, the injury coincides with the international break, ahead of Deportivo's next match against Real Sociedad on October 10th.
