Cesc Fabregas’ Chelsea clause confirmed

Como head coach Cesc Fabregas reportedly has an exit clause in his contract that allows him to leave for elite clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, or Barcelona. According to Italian transfer reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Fabregas was previously considered by Chelsea before they appointed Xabi Alonso. The Spanish manager has drawn widespread interest across Europe after guiding Como to fourth place in Serie A and securing Champions League qualification.

Despite the release clause, Fabregas remains content at Como and is not actively pushing for a departure after rejecting offers from Inter, AS Roma, and Bayer Leverkusen. Furthermore, Como president Mirwan Suwarso confirmed the Italian club would not stand in Fabregas' way should he decide to return to Chelsea in the future.
