Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez revealed that teammate Lamine Yamal planned a goal celebration tribute for him during the World Cup. Lopez missed the tournament for Spain after suffering a fractured metatarsal prior to the competition. Yamal had prepared a jersey to show if he scored during a match, though he did not get the opportunity to reveal it.
Lopez explained that a photographer informed him about the gesture, praising Yamal for the thoughtful act. Both players are currently on international duty with Spain as they prepare to face England in an upcoming Nations League match.
