Hansi Flick talks Barcelona’s plan for Kylian Mbappe and warns of Real Madrid’s set-piece threat ahead of El Clasico

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick emphasized the need for a strong defensive display ahead of Sunday's El Clasico clash with Real Madrid at Camp Nou. Flick detailed plans to counter Kylian Mbappe, calling on center-backs Pau Cubarsi and Gerard Martin to remain aggressive and organized. Flick also highlighted Real Madrid's aerial strength from set pieces as a major danger to address.

The coach stressed that Barcelona must improve following a midweek defeat to Paris Saint-Germain where they conceded from a corner. While writer Renato Goncalves notes that Real Madrid's defense has shown vulnerability this season under Jose Mourinho, Flick reiterated that defensive discipline and high pressure are vital to counter Madrid's physical and counter-attacking strengths.
