The Story in 60 Seconds

Real Madrid TV has criticized Barcelona and Spanish match officials ahead of Sunday's El Clasico at Camp Nou, claiming Real Madrid will face "17 referees" during the match. The channel's outburst was triggered by Ref Cam footage from Barcelona's win over Real Betis, which showed Barcelona players requesting a VAR check before a Giovani Lo Celso goal was disallowed for handball.

Calling the situation "scandalous," the broadcast accused Barcelona players of acting as referees and claimed they dictate which plays are reviewed by VAR. Barcelona will enter the upcoming El Clasico holding a six-point lead over Real Madrid with an undefeated record in La Liga.
