Julian Alvarez plans shock move after Barcelona transfer saga

Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez is reportedly considering changing his agent following a failed summer transfer attempt to Barcelona. The 26-year-old striker was blocked from joining the Catalan club after Atletico Madrid demanded his full ―500 million release clause. Alvarez is now expected to part ways with his long-term representative, Fernando Hidalgo.

Alvarez has reportedly held talks with Javier Pastore of the agency The Elegant Game. The potential change of representation is viewed as a gesture of goodwill to repair relations with Atletico Madrid and its supporters. By changing agents, Alvarez appears committed to staying at Atletico Madrid, effectively putting his pursuit of a Barcelona transfer on hold.
