Raphinha has been a revelation for Barcelona since making the switch from Premier League side Leeds United and now captains the side under Hansi Flick. His former fitness coach at Leeds, Alejandro Lorenzo, has now offered a bit of insight…

Raphinha's former fitness coach at Leeds United, Alejandro Lorenzo, praised the Barcelona captain, calling him clearly among the best in the world. Speaking to Sport, Lorenzo recalled a remarkable rehabilitation finishing exercise where Raphinha scored 19 out of 20 shots into the top corner. Lorenzo also noted that under former manager Marcelo Bielsa, the Brazilian winger recorded the most high-intensity meters and sprints by far.
Lorenzo highlighted Raphinha's relentless work ethic, stating the forward sets high standards for teammates both in matches and training. Currently starring under manager Hansi Flick, Raphinha has already scored 14 goals this season. Lorenzo added that a lack of wider recognition likely motivates the Brazilian to perform at his best.
