Barcelona captain Raphinha has been named La Liga's Player of the Month for September, claiming the honor for the second consecutive month after previously winning in August. Under manager Hansi Flick, the Brazilian transitioned into a No. 9 role and delivered standout performances, including a goal against Valencia and two assists against Levante, alongside match-winning displays against Racing and Sevilla.
Raphinha secured the monthly accolade ahead of finalists Kylian Mbappe, Jonathan David, Sergio Camello, and Fer Nino. However, after picking up an injury, the forward may reportedly be rested for Barcelona's upcoming fixture against Getafe.
