Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out of El Clasico against Barcelona due to a last-minute flu-like illness. The Belgian international was expected to start Sunday's match at Camp Nou before dropping out of the matchday ten squad. Real Madrid called up Illia Voloshyn to replace him on the roster.
Backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is now expected to start between the posts for Jose Mourinho's side. The absence arrives as Real Madrid trails Barcelona by six points and Atletico Madrid by four points in the La Liga title race.
