Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr is facing a potential suspension that could rule him out of the upcoming El Clasico against Barcelona on October 25 at Camp Nou. The Brazilian was sent off during Saturday's match against Villarreal following a VAR review for pulling Nathan Saliba's hair, after which he angrily confronted referee Isidro Diaz de Mera.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Vinicius could be banned for at least two games, covering the foul and his angry reaction, with a worst-case scenario of a four-match suspension. Following the controversial match, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho canceled his post-game press conference.
