Barcelona rarely rests Lamine Yamal because the young forward effectively paces himself during matches, according to Cadena Ser journalist Santi Ovalle. Yamal has featured in every match for Hansi Flick's team this season, recording 851 minutes, and also participated in all four of Spain's recent Nations League fixtures. The club reportedly views his extensive playing time as beneficial for building rhythm given the busy schedule without regular training sessions.
Internal club data reveals that Yamal covers around nine kilometers per match, roughly 2.5 kilometers less than teammate Pedri. The tracking statistics show the teenager spends 45% of matches walking and 32% jogging, enabling him to conserve energy and tire less quickly than other players.
