Barça head scout Joao Amaral was in Brazil to watch Arthur Dias. Why the 19-year-old left-footed CB is Deco's top target for Hansi Flick's system.

Barcelona sporting director Deco sent head scout Joao Amaral to Brazil to scout Athletico Paranaense defender Arthur Dias. Amaral watched the 19-year-old left-footed center-back at Arena da Baixada during Athletico Paranaense's 2-1 victory against Bahia.
Dias is considered an ideal target for manager Hansi Flick's defensive system, which requires pace, physicality, and composure on the ball. Having already made 50 senior appearances, Dias is reportedly targeted for a potential permanent transfer amid brewing competition from other major clubs.
