Mbappe sends message to Real Madrid’s €125m star Yan Diomande

Kylian Mbappe has publicly backed Real Madrid's record signing Yan Diomande following a slow start to his career at the Bernabeu. The 19-year-old Ivory Coast winger joined the club from RB Leipzig this summer for an initial €125 million fee, which could rise to €140 million with bonuses. Despite the high price tag, Diomande has yet to score in his first seven appearances for the Spanish club.

Mbappe urged patience from supporters, emphasizing Diomande's youth and quality while noting he is still adapting to the team. Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho also expressed satisfaction with the winger's work ethic and physical progression. Diomande recently recorded his first assist for the club during a 3-2 victory over Elche.
