Real Madrid secured a 2-1 victory over rivals Barcelona in El Clásico, powered by a brace from Kylian Mbappé. Despite missing suspended Vinícius Júnior and Thibaut Courtois due to the flu, Real Madrid took the lead in the first half when a clearance deflected off Mbappé into the net following Yan Diomande's ball into the box.
Barcelona equalized in the second half through Raphinha after Anthony Gordon had earlier created chances for the hosts. However, Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin made key saves before Eduardo Camavinga set up Mbappé for his late winning goal to seal the victory.
