Jose Mourinho: “Without promising anything, I think Vinicius Junior will start on Wednesday”

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho announced that Vinicius Junior will likely start on Wednesday, despite sitting out Sunday's match against Sevilla. Addressing media inquiries ahead of the LaLiga fixture, Mourinho defended the Brazilian winger following a challenging performance against Roma. He noted that Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini targeted Vinicius's flank, making it difficult for the attacker during their midweek encounter.

Mourinho also addressed broader squad management, praising Arda Guler's development, Endrick's contributions, and Vinicius's dedication to the club amid past external offers. Regarding the upcoming January transfer window, Mourinho stated that he is satisfied with his current squad and is not requesting any new signings.
