Fede Valverde injury will keep the Real Madrid midfielder out of Uruguay's upcoming matches after a confirmed grade-three ankle sprain.

Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has suffered a grade-three sprain in his left ankle following the derby against Atlético de Madrid. The injury occurred after a tackle involving Kang In Lee during the match. Real Madrid confirmed the diagnosis following medical evaluations, ruling the midfielder out of Uruguay's upcoming fixtures during the international window.
Valverde will remain at Valdebebas to undergo rehabilitation under the supervision of Real Madrid's medical staff. While the club has not set an official return date, projections indicate he could potentially return to full training in approximately two weeks, with Villarreal targeted as a potential return fixture.
