Brazil defeated Australia 4-2 in an international friendly match on September 29, 2026, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Vanderson opened the scoring for Brazil in the third minute before Australia responded with goals from Alessandro Circati and Connor Metcalfe. Raphinha tied the game with a penalty just before halftime following a foul on Danilo Santos.
