Whether he likes it or not, Fede Valverde may have to make the sacrifice of playing at right-back for the betterment of Real Madrid as a whole.

Writer Maximus Polek argues that Real Madrid should permanently move midfielder Fede Valverde to right-back to solve multiple team issues. The author believes Valverde has struggled to adapt to midfield duties alongside Aurelien Tchouameni this season, while Jose Mourinho's other right-back options have yet to secure the starting role.
According to the piece, summer signing Denzel Dumfries and Trent Alexander-Arnold have not fully convinced Mourinho, leaving the flank vulnerable. Polek notes that Valverde performed well after shifting to right-back during a recent comeback victory against Roma.
