Vinicius Jr. was sent off in the 1-0 win over Villarreal in La Liga after a VAR review found he should be dismissed for pulling Nathan Saliba’s hair in the build-up.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr. has received a four-match suspension in La Liga, ruling him out of the upcoming El Clasico match against Barcelona. The sanction stems from his dismissal during Real Madrid's 1-0 victory over Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The disciplinary committee handed down a two-game ban for violent conduct after a VAR review showed Vinicius pulling Nathan Saliba's hair, plus an additional two games for protesting to officials. Real Madrid currently trails league leaders Barcelona by six points in the standings.
