Liverpool have found a transfer success in Ronald Araujo, and the talk is already about how they can make his deal permanent. If you enjoy CaughtOffside coverage and want to see more of it, add us as a preferred source…

Fabrizio Romano has reportedly admitted he misspoke regarding Ronald Araujo's loan terms, revealing that Liverpool holds a €55m (£47m) purchase option next summer. Araujo joined Liverpool on loan from Barcelona late in the transfer window, and his strong early-season performances have prompted discussion about a permanent transfer.
Manager Andoni Iraola praised Araujo's defensive contributions and duel-winning ability following a 2-0 victory against Brighton. While Barcelona previously permitted the defender to leave on loan, his strong Premier League displays mean any permanent negotiations will focus on the specified option clause.
