Viktor Gyokeres has confirmed that he was “fully focused on Arsenal” over the summer, despite speculation suggesting that he could leave the club.
Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres has dismissed speculation regarding a potential swap deal involving Julian Alvarez during the summer transfer window. Speaking to Swedish outlet SVT Sport, the Sweden international stated he remained fully committed to Arsenal and never considered leaving the club despite rumors linking him with a departure.
Gyokeres scored 21 goals in his debut season following a €66.9 million move from Sporting CP, helping Mikel Arteta's side secure the Premier League title. However, he admitted frustration regarding his reduced playing time after not starting a league match so far this season.
