Argentina: Gasperini wants to block Messi’s invitation to Dybala

Lionel Messi invited AS Roma players Paulo Dybala and Nahuel Molina to attend his likely final Argentina match on October 6 at the Monumental stadium against Benin. Neither Dybala nor Molina was named in the national team squad for the upcoming international fixtures against Bolivia, Burkina Faso, and Benin.

While both players wish to accept the invitation, Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini reportedly prefers to block the transatlantic trip. Gasperini is concerned about travel fatigue ahead of Roma's Serie A fixture against Como scheduled for October 11.
