The RFEF Appeals Committee has rejected Real Madrid's appeal and confirmed a four-match suspension for Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior. The sanction follows his red card against Villarreal last weekend, where he received two matches for the expulsion and two for protests toward referee Díaz de Mera.
As a result of the ruling, Vinícius Júnior will miss matches against Sevilla, Racing de Santander, and Valencia, as well as El Clásico against FC Barcelona on October 25. He is expected to return to La Liga action after the international break against Celta in late November.
