Igor Paixao plans to leave OM shortly. The Brazilian striker announced it himself on the sidelines of the championship match

Marseille forward Igor Paixao has announced that he expects to leave the club, indicating that a permanent transfer next summer is the most likely outcome. Speaking in an interview with Canal Football Club, the Brazilian striker stated that a January exit is difficult and that there is a better chance he will depart OM at the end of the season.
Paixao was previously linked with a 35 million euro transfer to Sunderland during the summer window, but manager Bruno Genesio and owner Frank McCourt opted to retain him. However, Paixao has endured a difficult start to the campaign, failing to score in his first six matches, and showed visible frustration after being substituted in the 87th minute against Troyes.
