The hour of the verdict has come for the CAN 2025 final which on January 18 pitted Morocco against Senegal.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne is set to determine the ultimate winner of the CAN 2025 final between Senegal and Morocco. Senegal initially won the match 1-0 after extra time in Rabat on January 18. However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) later overturned the result in March and awarded the title to Morocco due to Senegalese players leaving the pitch before regulation time ended.
The Senegalese football federation is contesting CAF's decision, prompting a hearing before three CAS judges. Central to the dispute is Congolese referee Mr. Ndala's handling of the match, having resumed play following the walk-off and subsequent missed penalty before certifying Senegal's victory.
