Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed on Kiss Kiss Radio that he turned down a 3.5 billion euro takeover offer from Saudi Arabia. The 77-year-old executive, who has led the Italian club for 22 years, explained that he rejected the lucrative bid because he did not want to retire.
De Laurentiis also disclosed that talks with investment fund representative Rizzetta stalled over plans to gradually reduce his authority to an honorary president role. He emphasized his commitment to ongoing infrastructure and stadium projects, noting that if he ever sells the club, he would prefer a Neapolitan successor.
