Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League match against Barcelona broke French television viewing records for this stage of the competition on Tuesday night. According to RMC Sport, the broadcast peaked at 2.6 million viewers on Canal+, capturing a 13 percent audience share across France. The match saw PSG secure a 4-2 victory over the Spanish side.
Despite the massive sports audience, the fixture ranked as the third most-watched program in France that evening, trailing a film on France 3 that drew 3.08 million viewers. The report also notes that PSG is seeking contract extensions for both the injured Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue, while the club is in no rush to replace goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
