Real Madrid, heavy accusations from Barça

Barcelona president Joan Laporta launched strong accusations against Real Madrid on Saturday, claiming their rivals are intentionally trying to discredit Barcelona through the ongoing Negreira affair. Laporta stated that Real Madrid attempted to convict Barcelona prior to any trial, while expressing full confidence that his club will eventually be acquitted of all unfounded allegations.

Laporta further criticized Florentino Perez's club, accusing Real Madrid of trying to harm football through an arrogant and authoritarian posture. He claimed that Madrid's aggressive stance against UEFA and Euroleague basketball decisions has led to a loss of prestige, recognition, and credibility both domestically and internationally.
