Kylian Mbappé spoke to Spanish outlet A.S. to clarify that wearing the jersey was a club decision, expressing solidarity with both Ceuta and suffering migrants.

Reports indicate that several players, including Vinicius Junior and Mbappé, were hesitant and wore the shirts reluctantly. Thibaut Courtois reportedly declined to comment on the matter through his press officer. According to reports, Mbappé, Vinicius Junior, and Ibrahima Konaté were the only players who did not fully follow the movement.
