Sergio Rico in the sights of Juventus

Juventus has included Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico on its shortlist as an understudy to Guglielmo Vicario, according to Sky Sport Italia. The 33-year-old is available on a free transfer following his departure from Qatari club Al-Gharafa this summer. The Italian club is seeking reinforcements in goal after Kamil Grabara suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament injury.

Rico is reportedly viewed as a backup option if Juventus cannot complete a deal for free agent goalkeeper Neto, who previously played for the club. Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani, who is contracted until 2031, is also considered an alternative option.
