Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has left the door open for Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexander Isak, and Cody Gakpo to return for Saturday's Premier League match against Brentford. All three players missed recent fixtures against Manchester City and LASK Linz after sustaining injuries during the international break. Szoboszlai has been dealing with hamstring tightness, while Isak suffered a minor thigh injury with Sweden and Gakpo hurt his ankle while playing for the Netherlands.
Liverpool will definitely be without midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who serves a one-match suspension following his red card against Manchester City. Long-term absentees also remain sidelined, with defender Giovanni Leoni facing a month-long delay in his ACL rehabilitation. Striker Hugo Ekitike is targeting a return by January 2027 from an Achilles injury, while right-back Conor Bradley continues individual recovery from a knee problem with a possible December return.
