An LAFC fan was captured on video shouting a racist slur at South Korean player Son Heung-min following Sunday's 2-2 draw with the LA Galaxy. The attendee repeatedly yelled "nihao" at the winger as he circled the field to thank supporters after the match, prompting Son to glare back in response.
The footage quickly sparked outrage across social media, where fans urged the club to revoke the season ticket holder's access. The incident occurred during an already contentious rivalry fixture that also saw another LAFC fan face backlash for spitting on a Galaxy supporter.
