Manchester City are reportedly facing a massive points deduction that could guarantee their relegation from the Premier League following a guilty verdict regarding financial breaches. The Daily Mail reports the disciplinary sanction could be severe enough to demote the club to the Championship, despite an ongoing appeal process and a strong start to the season under head coach Enzo Maresca.
Manchester City defender Marc Guehi insisted that the squad remains calm, united, and confident in the football club following the commission's ruling. Amid the fallout, manager Enzo Maresca confirmed that forward Antoine Semenyo is expected to miss up to eight weeks with a leg injury.
