Michael Carrick on the brink of Manchester United exit after Bournemouth humiliation

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick faces potential dismissal following a humiliating 3-0 home defeat against Bournemouth at Old Trafford. Strikes from Rayan, Marcus Tavernier, and Evanilson sealed the victory for the visitors, leaving Manchester United winless across their last eight matches in all competitions. Carrick arrived at the club's training ground on Monday amid crisis talks regarding his future.

Following the defeat, which left United in 16th place in the Premier League, Carrick admitted he is uncertain about his position but denied that waving to supporters was a farewell. Pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville both indicated that the club will likely terminate Carrick's tenure after the disastrous result.
