Parma have officially parted company with head coach Carlos Cuesta by mutual consent. The 31-year-old Spanish manager, who previously worked under Mikel Arteta as an assistant coach at Arsenal, departs the Italian club following five matches of the league season.
The separation reportedly followed a complete breakdown in relations between Cuesta and the club over Parma's transfer strategy and future sporting project. Parma were left in 13th place in the league table at the time of the announcement.
