AFC Bournemouth may have their hand forced when it comes to a transfer strategy for midfielder Alex Scott this January.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that AFC Bournemouth may soften their £100 million valuation for midfielder Alex Scott during the January transfer window. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are closely monitoring the 23-year-old, who has refused to sign a contract extension and currently has around 18 months remaining on his deal. Jacobs suggests that Scott's recent thigh injury has prompted Bournemouth to reconsider their stance against a mid-season sale.
While Bournemouth initially sought over £100 million for a permanent transfer, Jacobs believes an offer between £80 million and £85 million could tempt the club. However, any potential winter departure remains contingent on Marco Rose's side avoiding a relegation battle ahead of the new year.
