£58m Arsenal and Tottenham transfer target gets voted for huge award by Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi included Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Maza in his top three votes for a major award decided by former Ballon d'Or winners. The 20-year-old Algerian international finished ninth overall, with Messi placing him alongside Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been tracking the player and watched him in action this season, alongside interest from other top European clubs.

Maza expressed that receiving recognition from Messi was a great honor. The midfielder has scored four goals and provided three assists in 12 appearances across all competitions for Leverkusen this season, while also reaching 24 senior international caps for Algeria.
