Arsenal have now won 14 successive Champions League group stage or league phase games, so can they surpass the all time record held by Bayern Munich?

Arsenal are closing in on Bayern Munich's Champions League record of 17 consecutive group or league phase victories. Following a 3-0 home win over LOSC Lille featuring goals from Jurrien Timber, Eberechi Eze, and Bukayo Saka, Mikel Arteta's side reached 14 consecutive victories at this stage of the competition. The streak represents the second-longest run in Champions League history ahead of their upcoming trip to Munich.
Bayern Munich set the record between 2020 and 2023 before a draw against FC Kobenhavn halted their run. Vincent Kompany's Bayern side enters the match after drawing with Champions League debutants Viking, during which Michael Olise received a red card that will rule him out of Arsenal's visit next Wednesday.
