The Story in 60 Seconds

Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory against Liverpool at Anfield, marking their first win at the stadium in 14 years. Kai Havertz scored the decisive goal off a cross from Declan Rice to seal the win for Mikel Arteta's side. In doing so, Arsenal became the first team since records began in the 2003/04 season to prevent Liverpool from registering a single shot on target in a Premier League match at Anfield.

Liverpool dominated possession with 56.4% and took 17 shots, but Arsenal's backline held firm. Goalkeeper David Raya went untested on target as Gabriel and Ezri Konsa anchored the defense through 33 crosses and seven corners. Liverpool came closest to equalizing when Florian Wirtz hit the crossbar with a free kick, but the Gunners held on to secure all three points.
