Arsenal youngster will have to learn a valuable lesson…

Arsenal teenager Max Dowman has received a three-match domestic suspension following his red card in a Carabao Cup penalty shootout defeat against Fleetwood Town. The 16-year-old was dismissed by referee Michael Salisbury with five minutes left in regulation for violent conduct after appearing to kick out at Fleetwood midfielder Harrison Neal.
Because domestic red cards carry over across English competitions, Dowman will miss Premier League fixtures against Liverpool, Hull, and Newcastle. However, the suspension does not apply to European matches, meaning he remains eligible for Arsenal's Champions League meeting with Slavia Praha before returning to league action against Manchester City.
