Vanderson opened the scoring for Brazil in the third minute, but Australia surged ahead 2-1 through goals from Alessandro Circati and Connor Metcalfe. Raphinha leveled just before half-time before Guimaraes tapped in a pass from Endrick to make it 3-2, with Vinicius Junior sealing the win via an 80th-minute penalty.
